Well it’s almost Christmas…. Can you believe it???
And time to decide which of Johnathon DVDs you want as presents from your family and friends…  And if they are really generous and REALLY love you, then they might buy you ALL of them…

There have been a lot of fans asking about purchasing the more obscure and rare films like:

Welcome to Woop Woop
As far as I know it was only released on DVD in Australia, and that was fairly recently, but it appears that copies are all sold out and as rare as hen’s teeth.  The distributor is not planning on releasing it again in the near future either, so keep an eye out on Ebay…..  You should be able to find VHS copies fairly easily though.

Sparrow
There ARE copies out there, just hard to find…Keep searching Ebay and Amazon.  This was Johnathon’s first film and a must for all fans.

At Home with the Webbers
This is only available on VHS, so keep looking for a copy.

Houdini
Available on VHS and there are also VCD copies floating around on Ebay

If you want  recommendations on the best DVD for you, then please visit the Discussion Forum and ask other fans…  They are the best people to have their brain’s picked…..
(As with all DVDs, make sure you check region codes before purchasing)

And of course don’t forget  Cemetery Dance Publications are offering exclusive signed copies of The Washingtonians DVD. They are signed by both screenwriters (Johnathon Schaech and Richard Chizmar) at no extra cost... To purchase these RARE SIGNED copies, please visit Cemetery Dance Publications and place your order.  You will not be able to purchase this signed DVD anywhere else.....

 What’s been happening ???

Johnathon has been ultra busy these past three months mainly with his writing projects.  He and his business partner Richard Chizmar have been working very hard on screenwriting projects including another episode for Masters of Horror.

Sea of Dreams was released in the USA theatrically on September 21, 2007 and has been capturing the hearts of everyone who has seen it.  I will post news on the DVD release when it is finalised.

Living Hell has been sold to the Sci-Fi Channel in North America.  It will premier in April 2008 and will run the coveted Saturday 9PM slot and continue to play through June 2008.  It will also be released on DVD in 2008 through Image Entertainment

Little Chenier will have its theatrical release in the USA on December 15, 2007 starting in New Orleans.  Details of other release dates and cities of this multi award winning film will be posted as they are confirmed.

The Poker Club - Post production.

From a Buick8 – Pre Production

Prom Night – Post Production

What’s happening next ???

Johnathon recently won a coveted role in Quarantine , a Sony Screen Gems remake of the Spanish-language film [Rec]. Other cast members include Jay Hernandez (Hostel), Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter, Exorcism of Emily Rose), Steve Harris (The Batman, Minority Report), Rade Serbedzija (The Eye, 24), Greg Germann (Child's Play II), Bernard White (Raising Helen), Zulay Hanao (Grizzly Park) Marin Hinkle (She Lived) and Denis O'Hare (Derailed).  It will be directed by John Erick and Drew Dowdle (The Poughkeepsie Tapes). The film is about a camera operator, a journalist, a fireman (Johnathon) and a cop trapped inside an apartment building after a deadly strain of rabies breaks out in the city of Los Angeles.  Filming has begun in Los Angeles...

There is a four page spread including an interview with Johnathon in the October edition of Venice Magazine .   Hopefully they will update their web site soon……!!??

Part two of the interview with Johnathon at DarkScribe Magazine. will be available soon.

Once again special thanks to Johnathon Schaech.  Your continued support makes this all worth while, plus it wouldn’t be half as much fun without it…  For me that is… :)

And thanks again to a handful of amazing “Industry” people including Jace Johnson (Little Chenier), Pepe Bojorquez (Sea of Dreams) and Richard Jefferies (director Living Hell).  Your generosity and support is greatly appreciated.

And of course thanks to all of Johnathon’s fans, who are the nicest people in the world.

THANK YOU ALL…!!!

Cheers to everyone
