More Politics and some Movie Stuff
I just listened to McCain --- who I've always admired.
He said some amazing things.
Words are powerful tools.
Who can back them up?
I honestly believe McCain will try to CHANGE this country.
But he will be doing so in the same party that has caused us to need change.
Both candidates came out strong with the same message of change. I'm
thinking everyone at this point agrees the United States of America
needs to change in so many ways.
So the words come first...action second. Right.
I'm looking forward to the debates. I'm looking forward to more WORDS.
But I'm a writer.
I love these words Kennedy said, "Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country."
And it inspired a nation. We even made it to the moon when he was around.
As someone said...the experience isn't there with Obama.
And you look at McCain and he's been around. And now he wants change.
Wait a minute...
The Bush administration is in the presidency right? McCain is in the same party.
I know McCain's a rebel. But honestly
EIGHT IS ENOUGH.
We can't handle four more years.
I know and love a lot of republicans. Most of them are smart in their choice of being in that party.
But I watched my parents vote blindly four years ago. To a government that failed them four years prior.
They voted for the side they've always felt loyalty to. And that party failed them. It's failed us all.
I believe Obama...he inspires me to work and to fight for causes greater than myself.
I'm going to continue to fight for what I consider to be right. What I was raised to consider right.
I continue to urge anyone who reads this...
Grow through this.
Let's grow together.
I keep writing these political blogs when I have so much work to do.
Thanks everyone for being so respectful. Politics are tricky. I hated
the disrespect shown by the lady from Alaska. I hate gossip and dirty
politics.
I start a TNT web series on Monday. I'll be working on my birthday.
And I follow the series up with a small role in a film titled Bone Deep. With Matt Dillon, Idris Elba and Chris Brown.
I have two scripts due in the next two weeks...
And I'm going to see Larry the Cable Guy tomorrow
And the ravens on Sunday.
What a life! We only have one life!

Barack Obama
WOW...!!!
The last two days are just historical.
Last night I sat in Bronco Stadium and witnessed the re birth of America.
I listened to Barack's speak and all I kept thinking is this makes sense. It just makes sense.
Common sense.
Why would anyone in a free world think different? Why doesn't everyone get it?
And then I realized not everyone in America is given the chance to be open to new thinking.
Because they are faced day in and day out with to much worry and doubt. A daily grind of it creates so much fear.
I know when my parents raised me they worked hard. Pay check by pay
check. They were loyal to the Republicans for uncertain reasons. Voting
more because of their Catholic faith then anything else.
But this year after realizing what the Bush administration has done
over the last eight years. They were open to change. They both will
vote for Barack Obama. I pray others have the opportunity to be part of
this incredible movement.
It's simple. Our country is in trouble, we need change.
With a democratic president our economy will get better. (Look at the
Clinton years.) Health care for everyone. (This alone should give him
the election.)
Barack won me over a year ago in a small meeting room in Hollywood with the same message that inspired millions last night.
He's asking for everyone's vote, but what he's given in return is a chance to believe in ourselves again.
To believe in the american dream.
To believe in this great country of ours.
YES WE CAN !!!

Summer BLOG
So after having a very disappointing experience on The Circle, I've decided to go home to Maryland for awhile.
My mother was sick before I got here, but ever since I've been here she's gotten better.
Just goes to show...positivity can heal.
I've been doing some soul searching lately...
Trying to redefine my life purpose again.
The ambition I've had over the years has changed somehow. I want to
spend more time with my family, trying to maybe start my own here soon.
I'm humbled watching all my old movie star friends having children.
I think a lot of them have achieved so much success and have found it being even more lonely then before.
So they're trying the family thing.
After Watching some friends of mine die this past year...
Has made me awaken to the realization that life in Hollywood can be shortened quickly...
These losses have saddened me...
And I hope to learn from the feelings it's created inside.
Back to the career thing:
In September and October I'll have two movies being released...
The Lifetime one called Sex and Lies in Sin City...
And one called Quarantine in theaters in October...
So I hope everyone enjoys them...
They're made to entertain everyone and I'm sure they'll be good...
I'm working on some TV ideas right now in my head...
Working on some Stephen King projects with Chizmar...
Reading very few scripts...
Watching lots of baseball...
Exorcising away some demons...
Enjoying 2005 bordeoux's...
Studying Obama and planning for a more personally responsible future...
Also I'd like to ask whoever stole my computer to please send me my files on Buick 8 to Wendy...
What else?
Hmmm...
I was inspired by Josh Hamilton hitting all those homers in the allstar game...
His story is a hopeful one for many...
Tid bit:
I sat in the Baltimore Orioles Owners seats this past Saturday and they won in overtime...
I screamed like a six year old...
But I couldn't help but think it was a sign that I'll be owning the
Orioles in ten years SCREAMIng when we win the world series...
That will be my home town's Orioles latest since 1983...
When Rick Dempsey won MVP.
I hope everyone who takes the time to read this is inspired to love your loved ones even more...
This life is so short. And we only live it one time.

May 2008
Hey everyone,
Good news is I'm working...bad news is I'm so swamped I can't even call
my mother back. - Just kidding of course I'd call my mother back.
But I'm doing a Lifetime film with Peter Medak.
It's with Marcia Gay Harden and Mena Suvari.
So I'm working super hard on my character.
I play Rick Tabish...he is the man who was set up and framed for the Ted Binion case...(True story)
I want to do the man justice...
It's a really good script, great cast, and a master director.
And I'm also rewriting Stephen King's From a Buick 8.
And Rich Chizmar and I are rewriting our 2nd episode of Fear
Itself...got studio notes today...we have to perform surgery on it...
Last night I sat down with Fangoria and they plan on running an article
on all the horror stuff I got going on...(When I know when - I'll let
you know) and...
Just to let everyone know...I love hearing how everyone is doing, loved hearing from the boys from UMBC...
And I wanted everyone to know I'm happy being busy and grateful to be working...(Especially in these tough times)
Obama gave me hope several months ago...
I listened and learned from him, i changed the man I saw in the mirror and all my hard work and prayers are paying off...
I have faith again...
Tidbits of life:
Last week Rich and I spoke in front of his son's Billys class and today
I received a letter from all of them...thanking me. How cool is that!
Last weekend I was honored by Austin Film Festival to be part of their
Conversations in Film...I shared my experience with fellows actors,
writers and filmmakers... It felt great to share so much with people
who wanted to learn and had a desire to grow...
Last week I saw my dog Tellulah for the first time in three years...my
ex finally let me visit her...Tellulah was licking my face before I
even saw her...she was so happy to see me...
...I love that dog.
I'm trying to watch my Orioles and not lose track of their inspiring season...
I always watch ESPN news...I'm trying to make baseball my only addiction nowadays...
I wanted David Cook to win...
I bought a Brooklyn dodger hat in honor of my Grandpop...
I bought a old school Oriole cap, and some guy at a bar called me Ripken...
What else?
That's right I gotta go back to studying...
To everyone who took the time to read this...
Light a candle and thank God your alive...
If you're in the mist right now...
I promise it will lift, just don't give up hope...

April 2008
Well since Prom Night's success...I've had to put on my producer's hat for Poker Club...
My actor's hat for Quarantine...we shot additional scenes...
My writer's hat...Richard Chizmar and I have been hired to write another episode of Fear Itself...
And on a personal note, I was the unfortunate victim of a truck driver
on a cell...the tracker trailor ripped open my mercedes like a can
opener to a can of tuna...
As anyone knows accidents are never fun...
No humans were injured...
I'll be at Fangoria festival tomorrow - In my rental car...
I've been trying to remember my prom, but can't seem to remember
anything except my senior year...I've asked some old friends and they
can't recall anything either...
That was over 20 yrs ago...
Thanks to everyone for supporting me on MySpace
